JAMMU, Feb 4:Agriculture Displaced Employees Welfare Association (ADEWA) held a function here today in which the retiring displaced employees of the department were accorded a farewell.
On the occasion, Director Agriculture, Jammu H K Razdan, was the chief guest while the function was also graced by MLCs G L Raina and Surinder Ambardar. The programme was moderated by Dr Manoj Nazir Scientist Floriculture. The opening address was delivered by Rajinder Tickoo, general secretary of the Association.
During the function the contribution of retired members was highlighted. The vote of thanks was given by Association chairman Pamposh Koul.
On the occasion, ADEWA announced a new policy for retired displaced employees by virtue of which they will continue to remain members of the Association under the banner of ADEWA –R.
