JAMMU, May 14: Additional Director General NCC J&K, Major Gen SS Jakhar visited 2 J&K (I) Coy NCC Bhaderwah and interacted with cadets and officers at local Degree College and Government Girls High School .
Maj Gen SS Jakhar inspected Boys and Girls Wings of the College and School and said that the Directorate of NCC is keen to provide all necessary facilities and benefits in college as well as the GHSS Bhaderwah. He stressed that the Corps was keen to have quality cadets and not only quantity.
He stressed upon promoting national integration and urged upon the students/cadets to take part in social services like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, plantation drives, traffic awareness, NCC camps and other NCC activities.
The ADG was presented a Guard of Honour by the NCC cadets of the GHSS Bhaderwah. A large number of students, NCC cadets and staff of the school participated in the programme.
