JAMMU, Jan 11: Additional Director General NCC, Maj Gen Sudhir Singh Jakhar visited border area of Akhnoor in Jammu sector today.
During the visit the ADG was received by the Commanding Officer of the Battalion in Pargwal sub-sector. Maj Gen Jakhar paid tributes to the war heroes of the Regiment and laid a wreath at war memorial of the Regiment at Pargwal in Akhnoor.
The General Officer discussed various issues regarding NCC activities being carried out in J&K State. He emphasized that the aim of the NCC is to reach out to the youth in all the area including border areas of J&K. Maj Gen Jakhar was briefed about the activities on the NCC by the concerned officers.
