JAMMU, Jan 2: SJ M Gillani, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Armed J&K, today ordered promotion of 316 police personnel.
A press statement said that the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) headed by the ADGP, Armed J&K, approved promotion of one Assistant Sub Inspector to Sub Inspector, 88 Head-Constables to Assistant Sub-inspectors, 107 Selection Grade Constables to Head-Constables, and 120 Constables to Selection Grade Constables in J&K Armed Police.
ADGP Gillani congratulated the promoted officers, expressing hope that they will uphold discipline and dedication in their roles, meeting the expectations of the people.
Mahmood Ahmed, SSP, Staff Officer to ADGP Armed J&K, and other senior officers also extended their congratulations.
