ADGP holds meeting on Induction, De-induction Plan of CAPF Companies

Jammu, Sept 11: A high-level meeting was chaired today by Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Jammu Zone Anand Jain to discuss and review the Induction/De-induction Plan of Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) companies for the 1st and 2nd Phase of the General elections to the Legislative Assembly.
The meeting was held at the Police Control Room Jammu, where senior officers from CAPF /Police besides CAPF representatives participated to ensure smooth coordination and execution of the plan.
During the meeting, ADGP emphasized the importance of proper deployment and logistics management for the upcoming electoral process. He directed the officials to work in close coordination to ensure the safe induction and timely de-induction of CAPF companies in the region.
During the meeting, finalization of routes and timelines for the arrival and stationing of CAPF companies across sensitive and crucial zones for the 1st and 2nd phases of GELA-2024 was discussed besides robust security mechanisms during the induction and de-induction phases to maintain law and order and provide a secure environment for election officials and the general public was briefed by ADGP Jammu Zone .
He stressed the need for seamless coordination between the Police and CAPF for intelligence sharing, operational planning and efficient execution.
Arrangements for the accommodation, logistics and welfare of the CAPF personnel were reviewed to ensure that they are adequately supported during their deployment.
ADGP urged the officers to keep communication lines open at all levels to address any challenges or contingencies swiftly.
The meeting concluded with actionable directives for the timely execution of the induction/de-induction plan, with specific roles and responsibilities assigned to officers involved in the process.
