JAMMU, Sept 24: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Jammu Zone, Anand Jain today awarded PSI Nitish Khajuria with a Commendation Certificate Class-I along with cash reward for his exemplary performance as investigator the then In-charge of Police Post Pouni Chack.
The award was presented in a simple ceremony held here today.
Nitish Khajuria has been recognized for his outstanding work in securing convictions in three significant cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
These cases included ,FIR No. 36/2022 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act. FIR No. 80/2022 under Section 8/20 of the NDPS Act and FIR No. 239/2022 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act and Section 48-F of the Excise Act at Police Station Domana.
