JAMMU, Dec 14: Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust celebrated its 12th Foundation Day in Jammu today with a grand event.
On this occasion, the Trust launched the 6th edition of the Tithi Patra Panchang Calendar.
Edited by the Trust’s President and State awardee Mahant Rohit Shastri, the calendar was unveiled by the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Zone, Anand Jain, and the DIG Jammu-Kathua-Samba (JKS) Range, Shiv Kumar Sharma.
Mahant Rohit Shastri explained that there has been confusion in recent years regarding the dates of fasts and festivals, and this Panchang calendar will provide clear and accurate information.
He mentioned that the calendar, prepared after thorough research, will be distributed free of charge, with 10,000 copies set to be shared with the public.
The publication was supported by Nigam Gupta, Managing Director of HexaMed Jammu.
ADGP Anand Jain highlighted the importance of the Panchang in Indian culture, saying it not only provides details about fasts and festivals but also offers valuable information on other aspects of life.
He expressed his pride in releasing the calendar and congratulated the Trust for its Foundation Day celebrations and the new publication.
DIG Shiv Kumar Sharma praised astrology as a deep science that influences all aspects of human life and events.
He expressed hope that the Panchang would be beneficial to society and wished success to Mahant Rohit Shastri and the Trust.
The event was attended by several prominent figures, including RK Chhibber, former Chairman and current Director of Jammu and Kashmir Bank, along with Vinay Aggarwal, Naresh Raina and Aditya Abhiraj Sharma.
