JAMMU, Aug 22: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Security J&K, Dr S D Singh Jamwal today visited Security Central Pool Jammu, where he chaired a darbar of officers and jawans to know their grievances and problems faced by them while performing security duties.
Addressing the darbar, the ADGP Security asked the officers and jawans to work professionally and without compromising the security norms. He gave patient hearing to all the grievances of the officers and jawans, and assured them that all their problems shall be redressed on priority. Earlier, Swarn Singh Kotwal, SSP Security Jammu briefed the ADGP regarding functioning of Security Line, Jammu.
The ADGP also inaugurated a newly constructed park inside the Security Line premises which is dedicated to the jawans in the memory of Shaheed Deputy SP Manjeet Singh, who laid down his life while fighting with militants at Poonch in the year 2003. After inauguration of park, Jamwal interacted with the supervisory officers and took stock of the functioning of Security Central Pool Jammu.
Jamwal also lauded officers and jawans for their dedication in performing duties, resulting into peaceful conduct of Shri Amarnath Yatra and Independence Day celebrations.
Among others, SSP (Tech) Ranjit Singh Sambyal, Commandant JKAP 4th Security Jammu SSP Ashok Kumar Sharma, SSP R P Singh (SO to ADGP Security), Commandant IT-18th Battalion Kulbir Singh, SP Headquarters Ramnish Kumar, Nasir Ahmed, Shaheen Wahid (Additional SSP Security, Jammu), Khaliq Hussain (Deputy SP Security), Shewatambri Sharma (Deputy SP Security), Mahesh Sharma (Deputy SP Security) and KD Bhagat (Deputy SP DAR DPL) were present on the occasion.
