SRINAGAR, May 26: SJM Gillani, Additional DGP Armed J&K today visited DPL Anantnag and conducted meeting of manpower of IRP-11th Battalion to take the stock of the welfare and functioning of the manpower and issuing necessary instructions for preparations of manpower for forthcoming SANJY duties.
While disclosing the schedule date of commencement of 43 days long Shri Amar Nath Ji Yatra-2022 in J&K UT from 30th of June, 2022, the ADGP issued necessary instructions and guidelines to the Commandants for readying their manpower for L&O and other sensitive duties during forthcoming Yatra.
During meeting, a number of officers and jawans put-forth their personal and collective grievances. The ADGP listen to the grievance patiently and assured them that their genuine grievance will be redressed on merits.
The ADGP advised the participants to take care of their health by doing regular exercise, yoga, playing games and taking healthy and hygienic diet.
Earlier, Commandant IRP-11th Battalion Sandeep Mehta presented the welcome address.
The ADGP Armed was accompanied by Abdul Jabar DIG Anantnag, Ashish Mishra SSP Anantnag, Mahmood Ahmad SSP Staff Officer to ADGP Armed, Syed Sajad Hussain Private Secretary to ADGP Armed, Abdul Hamied DySP (Pers) APHQ and Abdul Rashid PA to ADGP Armed.
The meeting was attended by Fayaz Ahmad Lone-SSP Commandants IRP-10th Battalion and Javid Ahmad-SSP Commandant IRP-17th Battalion. Liaqat Ali, SSP APCR Kashmir, Deputy Commandants and other GOs of these Units besides manpower of the Unit were also present on the occasion.
