JAMMU, Apr 13: A delegation of All Displaced Kashmiri United Front (ADKUF) held a meeting with Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Dr Arvind Karwani in his office chamber.
The delegation as led by P L Sudeshi, president of the organisation. It while highlighting the various issues of the displaced people from Valley made an appeal to RRC to amend the recently issued order by his organisation regarding issuance of ration booklets. The delegation demanded that the ration booklets be issued to the relief holders on yearly basis to ease their problems. They said that issuing of coupons on monthly basis will add to the problems of the old and inform people especially during the scorching heat of Summer.
The delegation appealed him that issue be considered on humanitarian grounds. The RRC assured that he will look into this issue. It is hoped that the submission put forth by ADKUF will bear fruitful results in the days to come, a handout issued by the organisation said.
