JAMMU, Jan 2: A meeting of the All Displaced Kashmiri United Forun (ADKUF) was held under the leadership of PL Sudeshi its president here, today. Expressing anguish over the statement of LG the Forum said it has hurt the sentiments of the displaced community. The Forum appealed LG not to adopt a rigid attitude and make it a point of prestige instead adopt a humanitarian approach since snatching the very lively hood has put lives of thousands of displaced families to risk.
Package employees are the best sincere and efficient work force they are scared of life which is much more important than a job they are not shirkers avoiding joining duties deliberately it should be seen in the back ground of Pandits having stake claim on their left over property occupied illegally or purchased mostly by pro-Jehadi elements at throwaway prices which they don’t like to part with.
Hit lists issued continuously by the terrorist organizations warning bloodshed is a matter of serious concern and it has sent shock waves throughout displaced community as to how the discrete information about names and places of posting of package employees reached the terrorists this is definitely handy work of insiders within the Government and it needs a thorough investigation. The culprits are hand in glove with terrorists must be exposed and should be given exemplary punishment for exposing precious and innocent lives to risk at the same time it is also an eye opener for the UT administration which has failed miserably in wiping out TRF active for a pretty long time now.
Passbooks are being issued to land owners by the UT administration and Forum appealed the LG not to ignore Pandits as pass books should also be issued to all the Pandit land owners.
Forum again appealed the representative bodies of displaced community to come under one roof to fight for the problems unitedly.
It also reiterated the demand of constitution of a Shrines and Temples Board through an Ordinance.
Meanwhile Sunil Pandita a representative of unemployed youth has also urged the LG to settle the issue of package and reserved category employees by issuing orders for their relocation and releasing their salaries without delay.
