JAMMU, June 20: Former president of J&K Youth Congress and National general secretary of Indian Youth Congress (IYC) and JKPCC vice president Hari Singh Chib, criticized the current administration for its failure to meet the expectations of the general public.
The senior Congress leaders voiced their concerns during a `Nukkad’ meeting at Taku Chak Panchayat in Domana, part of the Jammu North Assembly segment. The meeting, organized by local leaders Bishan Singh Jasrotia and Chamail Singh Chib, served as a platform for residents to discuss pressing issues directly with their political representatives.
People of the area conveyed their grievances to the senior Congress leaders, emphasizing the lack of basic infrastructure such as roads and drainage systems in ward Taku Chak of Panchayat Domana despite repeatedly addressing these issues with the authorities, no action has been taken.
They criticized the current administration for its failure to meet the expectations of the general public, especially road connectivity and drainage. They assured the residents that their legitimate demands would be taken up with the concerned authorities. He specifically pointed out the irregular power and water supply, stressing that despite timely bill payments, residents are not receiving these essential services consistently.
Uday Chib urged the public to support the Congress Party in the upcoming Assembly elections, emphasizing that a change in Government is necessary to address and resolve the myriad issues facing the region. They assured the people that a Congress-led Government would prioritize their needs and work diligently to improve their living conditions like replacing smart meters by old meter system, removing property tax and will provide basic amenities to the public.
He underscored Party’s commitment to listening and addressing the concerns of the people, reaffirming their dedication to bringing about positive change in Jammu and Kashmir.
