KATHUA, Nov 4: The administration has deputed a joint team of police and villagers from Bani to rescue three persons who were trapped in snow at Lambi Talaie at Lukhnalli Chandi Mata temple near Lohang.
The team is headed by Head Constable Naresh Kumar, SDM, Bani, Ranjit Singh while giving the information said. He said that all the three persons are at safer place and they will be rescued soon.
He said the villagers had gone to Luknalli three days back to have pilgrimage of Chandi Mata shrine there but they were trapped in the snow and could not return.
The pilgrims who have been trapped included Ganesh Kumar and Rakesh Sharma
sons of Uttam Chand of Chalog Bani and Vishab Sharma, son of Om Parkash of Mahanpur.
