Admn discriminating with junior engineers: KPC

JAMMU, Jan 21: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) expressed anguish towards the J&K Administration for discriminating with the Prime Minister’s package employees especially junior engineers recruited in the year 2010 and onwards.
Kundan Kashmiri, President KPC, stated that it is unfortunate that PM package employees in particular the junior engineers (mechanical) working in valley are facing discriminatory attitude at hands of J&K administration as regards to their promotions and other benefits.
“They have been kept out of the seniority list for the last eleven years and all of a sudden their juniors were promoted to next higher position”, he said, adding that this is highest discrimination towards them.
KPC President said this policy and attitude to deprive these junior engineers from the promotional benefits and unduly getting their juniors promoted without any justification is great set back and injustices with them.
KPC appealed to the Lieutenant Governor and Chief Secretary to do justice with these aggrieved junior engineers who are also appealing from long period to the higher-ups for their due promotions and other benefits.
