Adopt CGHS for JK pensioners: CSPWF

JAMMU, Dec 1: J&K Civil Secretariat Pensioners Welfare Forum (CSPWF) has demanded hike in Medical Allowance of the J&K employees and pensioners and adoption of Central Government’s Health Scheme (CGHS) for the pensioners of JKUT.
President of the Forum, Mohd Shafi Khan, retired Under Secretary and general secretary, Chand Ji Bhat, retired FA&CAO, along with fifty other members of the Forum welcomed the new Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo for his new role in the J&K Administration and hoped that their pending issues would be resolved shortly.
They demanded enhancement of Medical Allowance of the employees and pensioners, release of pending DA installment and adoption of Central Govt Health Scheme for the pensioners of J&K UT. They said this scheme has already been adopted/ implemented in the other Union Territories except J&K. They sought enhancement of Medical Allowance as specified in the Scheme and said it will automatically increase.
