JAMMU, Sept 26: K. Skandan, Advisor to the Governor visited Nidra Mattress unit in Gangyal and inaugurated the newly setup mattress production lines. He was accompanied by the Director, Industries & Commerce, Anoo Malhotra along with General Manager, District Industries Centre, Namrita Dogra and members of Association of Industries, Gangyal.
Speaking on the occasion the Advisor appreciated working of the unit and praised for the consistent efforts of the management in making it one of the renowned brands in the industry.
He promised full co-operation in encouraging local industrial units.
Chairman Nidra group, Sweesh Anand informed that the new production lines would manufacture the advanced coir mattress and also India’s first recycled textile fiber reinforced green technology mattress.
“The company would also launch its green initiative ‘8 Hours For The Planet’ promoting the use of recycled fiber Mattress in curbing the textile waste in society.
