LEH, Dec 8: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Union Territory of Ladakh, Dr Pawan Kotwal, today chaired an important meeting to review the preparations for the upcoming 3rd National Conference of the Chief Secretaries (CSs) scheduled to be held in New Delhi.
The session also provided a comprehensive overview of the achievements and goals of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
As per a statement, progress in key areas like land and property, electricity, drinking water, health & wellness centers, and schooling was highlighted in the meeting. The officers provided insights into challenges faced and strategies devised for sustainable development in the region.
Advisor Dr Pawan Kotwal took a closer look at the targets and accomplishments of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Ladakh.
He emphasized meticulous planning and effective implementation, stressing the importance of collaborative efforts from each department. Dr Kotwal highlighted the need for a streamlined system to ensure comprehensive service delivery, stating that good practices are the foundation of successful governance.
The meeting facilitated constructive dialogue, addressing challenges and seeking collective solutions. It showcased the UT administration’s commitment to transparent governance and sustained development in Ladakh. Attendees included officials from various departments, such as the Public Health Engineering Department, Health Services, Tourism, Finance, and Home.
