KUPWARA, Apr 17: Advisor to the Prime Minister, T.K.A Nair today visited Kupwara district to review the implementation of various Centrally sponsored schemes  launched for improving socio-economic conditions of the people and enhancing the employability of the educated unemployed youth of the State.
Mr. Nair inspected Shehjar Community Resource Centre being setup at Kupwara for providing Skill Development Training to the militancy affected people to earn their livelihood.
On the occasion, the Advisor interacted with the trainees and expressed satisfaction for the measures undertaken for imparting training under Seva Help Foundation in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, Nair reiterated that the Government is committed to provide succor to the people effected during the turmoil in the Valley. He said that the affected people are being provided incentives for education and improving their socio-economic conditions besides facilitating old age persons.
He enjoined upon the people to avail the benefits of different welfare schemes being launched in the State. He also exhorted for effectively implementation of these schemes for maximum benefits to the people.
