Advocate injured in attack, hospitalised

SAMBA, Sept 28: An advocate was seriously injured in an attack by an assailant in Arjai village of Samba district. With the help of local people, the injured was taken to the District Hospital Samba where after first aid by the doctor he was referred to the Government hospital in Jammu. The injured has been identified as Rakesh Bhagat, resident of Arjai Samba.
The attack on the advocate took place when he had come out of his house for some work, suddenly the assailant attacked him on the head from behind, due to which he was seriously injured. Immediately after the incident, the police have also arrested the accused against whom case has been registered in Samba Police Station under different sections of law.
The accused has been identified as Bodh Raj, resident of Arjai Samba. No specific reason for the attack has come to light. At present, the police have registered a case and started further investigation.
