JAMMU, Oct 6: Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society (TNWS) here today organised a meeting with Nitin Mahajan, AEE PDD Sub Division, Gandhi Nagar and discussed the scheme of ‘Surya Se Har Ghar Bijli’ on subsidised rates.
Rajinder Parshad Kakkar, TNWS president introduced his team members with the invited guests.
The AEE cleared doubts of the residents and said for 5 KV, the money required is Rs 2.58 lakh which has been subsidised to Rs. 94,800 and the balance will be finance by PNB, SBI or JKB.
“Area required for 5 KV is 490 SqFt from which an average of 500 – 600 units would be generated,” he maintained adding; “The documents required are Aadhaar Card, Pan Card and proof of the property along with a duly attested affidavit.”
The AEE further said that one can also download JPDCL Smart Meter App from Google Play Store. Ashok Kumar Arora, patron TNWS presented the vote of thanks.
Rama Jamwal, Rubal Mahajan, Kulveer Singh, Subhash, Vijay Gupta, Dr. T.R Gupta, S.N Kaul, Ravinder Kaul, K.K Mahajan, R.K Kakroo, Amarjeet Singh and N.K Bali also participated in the meeting.
