JAMMU, July 2: Develo-pment Commissioner (Power), J&K, today ordered suspension of an Assistant Executive Engineer for the failure to open the tender invited for construction and conversion of bays of Grid Station Pounichak.
Surinder Kumar, then AEE of TLMD-Ist Janipur Sub-Division Janipur and presently posted in IT Division Jammu, has been placed under suspension with immediate effect.
Pending enquiry in the matter and during the period of suspension, he shall remain attached with the office of Chief Engineer System & Operation Wing Jammu. The Chief Engineer System & Operation Wing Jammu shall frame and serve the charge sheet to the suspendee by or before July 5, 2019.
Action by the Development Commissioner (Power), J&K, has been taken against the AEE for the failure to open the tender invited for construction and conversion of bays of Grid Station Pounichak vide e-NIT number TLMD-I/J/01 of 2019-20, dated 09-04-2019.
