KABUL, Oct 23: The Afghan Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation has signed three memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with leading aid agencies to assist thousands of displaced and needy families across Afghanistan, the ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
The total sum reached more than 2.4 million U.S. dollars, benefiting over 2,236 families and 10,550 people, the statement said.
The agencies will implement public utility projects in 15 provinces, it said. The Afghan caretaker government has called on local and international organizations to invest in the country and help create job opportunities.
