AFWWA members visit Indo-Pak border, interact with BSF

JAMMU, Apr 27: The Air Force Wives Welfare Association of Air Force Station Jammu organized a joy trip for its members to Indo-Pak border areas at RS Pura Sector, today.
The trip was led by Mamta Patange, president of the Association at Jammu region.
The trip started with visit of Indo-Pak border at RS Pura sector. The “Sanginis”-members of AFWWA, met BSF personnel and interacted with them. The Sanginis were also briefed about the role of BSF and their importance in safeguarding of the border. After visiting the border, the Sanginis enjoyed the day under the shade of spreading trees and having fun and picnic for all of them. The picnic turned out to be an enjoyment for the ladies with a full day of games, jokes, singing songs and having fun for all of them. Everyone enjoyed the day.
Mamta Patange, president AFWWA (L) interacted with the Sanginis and listened to their problems also. She congratulated them on their participation in various activities conducted by the AFWWA and for successful events. Mrs Patange also distributed prizes to ladies, who had won various games and assured them for more such fun-frolic events in future to relieve from the routine monotonous life. She also said that AFWWA – is always around to render assistance to the needy.
Air Force Wives Welfare Association is the core welfare organization, for the ladies of the Air Force. Apart from providing innumerable benefits to its members, it provides an excellent forum for meaningful and fruitful interactions for its large number of members.
