Aggrieved KAS candidates protest against PSC

JAMMU, May 2: Alleging no transparency in the KAS preliminary examination, result of which was declared recently, aggrieved candidates today held a strong protest demonstration in front of the Jammu University.
The protesting candidates raised slogans against the J&K Public Service Commission and demanded that the key of preliminary exam should be made public for transparency in the system.
The protesting candidates also blocked the road in front of JU main gate for half an hour. They alleged that more around 5000 candidates, who claimed to have scored more then 300 marks, have been dropped out in the selection for mains exam while cut off for the same is 270 marks.
Seeking transparency in the PSC, the protesters demanded that OMR sheets of the candidates should be put online on the PSC site.
