JAMMU, Mar 11: To negotiate with the agitating students and scholars, the newly constituted four-member committee of the Jammu University today held detailed meeting with the former.
During the meeting, a number of aggrieved students and scholars apprised the committee members about their grievances with regard to admission, unprecedented delay in holding of DRC meetings and some other unwanted decisions of the University authorities.
The committee, comprising of Prof Prikshit Singh Manhas, Dr Arvind Jasrotia, Imran and headed by Prof Rajni Kant, assured the aggrieved students and scholars that justice would be done within stipulated time.
Pertinent to mention here that following a series of protests by the Students-Scholars Joint Action Committee, the Jammu University had yesterday constituted a four-member committee to negotiate with the protesters and address their grievances.
