MENDHAR, July 25: An Agriculture employee was seriously injured when he was hit by a speeding Tata Sumo in Mendhar town today.
Police said that Class- IV employee, Mohd Tareef, son of Mohd Akram, resident of Gohlad was hit by a Tata Sumo No. JK-12/ 6892 near Sangala Chowk when he was going to his office on a bike. Sumo was moving to Gursai. The injured with multiple fractures and head injuries was rushed to Mendhar hospital while Sumo driver escaped from the spot. The police registered a case in this connection. The victim was later referred to GMC hospital Jammu.
