JAMMU, Oct 2: Agriculture employees have urged upon the Director, Department of Agriculture to conduct of DPC of all the cadres and also fill up the vacant posts.
A delegation of the Association of Agriculture Professionals led by Amrik Singh, Anil Gupta, Jaswinder Singh, AS Charak and others called on the Director Agriculture, Jammu H K Razdan, the other day and urged upon the authorities for the early conduct of DPC. They extended gratitude to the Director for initiating process of fixing seniority and hoped that DPC would be conducted shortly. They said that since long no DPC was conducted in the department. They stressed for regular conduct of DPC and also in time in future. They also demanded that many posts of even senior officers are lying vacant and same be filled up shortly. The posts of Chief Agriculture Officer Jammu and joint Director are also lying vacant for the last more than three months.
