JAMMU, Jan 23: Ghulam Hassan Mir, Minister for Agriculture Production, called on N.N. Vohra, Governor at Raj Bhavan today.
Mr. Mir briefed the Governor about the issues discussed at the International Saffron Conference in which he participated in Madrid recently and the efforts underway to increase the production and productivity of saffron in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Governor and Mir also discussed other issues relating to the larger interests of the State.
Arun Choudhary, Director General, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) also called on Mr. Vohra.
Mr. Choudhary briefed the Governor about the present role and deployment of the SSB, particularly the responsibility that this Force is discharging in Jammu and Kashmir.
