JAMMU, Sept 1: Central Executive Council (CEC) of All Jammu & Kashmir Agriculture Officers Welfare Forum (AJKAOWF) was held here today under the chairmanship of its president Nasir A Zargar.
The meeting while deliberating over the recent interactions with the Minister and Commissioner Agriculture took stock of the latest developments on issues like DPC, Pay anomaly, Time Bound Promotions (TBP) settlement of MSc undecided leave period as well as issuance of the Tentative Seniority Lists (TSL) of the agriculture officers in the State.
While the members complimented the Minister of Agriculture G H Mir, MoS Agriculture, Nazir Ahmed Gurezi, Commissioner Agriculture, Dr Asgar Samoon and other officers for setting the DPC in motion stressed that the entire exercise started in this regard be taken to its logical conclusion in a transparent and flawless manner.
The CEC, however, decided to give top priority and strive hard for the fulfillment of the long pending demand of grant of time bound promotions in favour of the gazetted agriculture officers of the State.
The meeting decided to continue to work for exploring ways and means of making its cadres more alive to the problems and issues of the farming community and also deliberated upon positive outcome of the recently held AJKAOWF elections 2013.
