AIBCF constitutes Kathua unit

KATHUA, July 13: All India Backward Classes Federation, (AIBCF) J&K constituted its Kathua unit in simple and brief meeting held at Kathua with SOP laid down due to COVID-19. Kartar Nath Verma was unanimously nominated as adhoc president of district Kathua.
The nomination was made in presence of AIBCF president, F.C Satia and Balwant Kataria, general secretary. In the meeting, participants expressed anguish over the non-implementation of Mandal Commission report in J&K even after abrogation of Article 370, separate Constitution of J&K and RPC. OBCs of J&K are standing at the same position, which they stood in 1993.
New recruitment policy was appreciated, this policy is based on humanity, merit and transparency. This policy will go a long way to gain faith of common man on the Government. In fact this is a step towards end of corruption.
It was felt strange that the Socially and Educationally Backward Classes Commission (SEBCC) is having no member from OBC community. AIBCF demanded that at least one member of OBC category must be inducted in this Commission (SEBCC) so as to serve the real purpose of this Commission.
Those who were present include Kashturi Lal, Master Jaswant Raj, Ashwani Sumbria, Kewal Fotra, Bharat Bhushan from Nagri, Ravi Kant Verma, Jeet Raj, and Joginder Angotra.
