JAMMU, Oct 17: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) held a meeting at a Gurudwara of village Barian in Vijaypur.
The meeting was organized by AIBCU Jammu province general secretary, S. Gurmeet Singh.
Speakers and participants in the meeting raised the demand of 27 per cent reservation for OBCs in J&K.
They flayed the BJP led Government and appealed the OBCs to remain vigilant and maintain distance from BJP and the so called OBC leaders in Morchas who instead of working for OBCs are allegedly weakening their communities.
Those who spoke on the occasion were Charanjit Singh, Rajinder Singh, Payar Singh, Balkar Singh, Sandokh Chand, Kuldip Verma, Kewal Krishan Gotta, Rajinder Sikka, Raj Kumar, Chaman Lal, Madan Verma, Jagdish Verma, Prof. Kali Dass and others.
