AIBCU demands 27 % quota in J&K

JAMMU, Aug 1: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU), J&K unit today reminded BJP and Congress that they were against Mandal Commission Report and had strongly opposed its passage in the Union Parliament.
Addressing a meeting of the Union held here today, president Abdul Majid Malik said that it was BJP which with the help of Congress opposed Mandal Commission Report in 1992. The then BJP top leader LK Advani had under taken Rath Yatra against Mandal Decision and Congress had fully supported.
Prime Minister Modi, who came as OBC PM has not implemented Mandal report in J&K UT even after the abrogation of Article 370 but deliberately blocked the natural flow of justice in the same Bill. The speakers said BJP can not befool OBCs any more. They also referred to 27 % quota for OBCs in NEET and said it should have been much earlier. The OBCs’ NEET posts were allowed to go to other categories for long. They demanded 27 % quota for OBCs in J&K.
