UDHAMPUR, Oct 12:  To discuss the policies of the ruling parties in Jammu Kashmir vis-à-vis reservation to OBCs, All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) held a conference at Bajalta Morh, here today.
The conference under the chairmanship of its tehsil president Sagar Chand was attended by State president Abdul Majid Malik along with his central Committee members as the chief guest.
Speakers and participants strongly condemned the mis-use of Art 370 by all the political parties under their treacherous policies. “Some are in favour of Art 370 and some are against it, but the attitude of all towards the State OBCs is the same,” they alleged. Speakers termed the “Art 370” & “Social Justice” as two contradictory terms in J&K State where due constitutional rights of 27 percent reservation to OBCs vide Apex Court’s judgment of 1992 on Mandal Report, are being denied.
“None of the political parties take up the agenda of Social Justice. Instead there is thrashing and beating over beef in the Assembly to vitiate the communal harmony and all those who are involved must be disqualified forever,” the AIBCU said.
Those,  who shared their views, included  Sandokh Chand, Capt  Tara Chand, Rattan Lal, Narinder Kumar, Puran Chadgotra, Master Sain Dass, Makhan Lal, Subash Chander, Ramesh Kumar, Raj Kumar, Dil Mohd, Prof  Kali Dass and  others.
