JAMMU, Feb 25: A meeting of All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) was held at Akhnoor under the leadership of Union’s J&K Women President, Sonia Verma.
Speaking in the meeting Sonia condemned the present Government and said, no doubt BJP led Government has abrogated Article 370 and 35-A but the Government has failed to change the already existing rule in J&K as far as reservation is concerned.
Prof. Kali Dass, Union General Secretary flayed the “so called OBC leaders working in different political parties and are supporting their parties in the name of their own constitutional rights.”
Union President, Abdul Majid Malik claimed that the Government remained against OBCs but “more dangerous are our own so called community leaders who instead of strengthening the communities are dividing them to join their respective political parties.”
Malhotra, Prem Mehra, Darshan Mehra, Khursheed Ahmed Ahanger, Puran Attari and others were also present in the meeting.
