JAMMU, May 1: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) once again raised the issue of implementation of Mandal Commission Report in Jammu & Kashmir.
The issue was raised during a meeting of the Union members held today under the chairmanship of retired BDO Chaman Lal. Prof Kali Dass was the chief guest on the occasion and senior OBC leader from Bishnah Tilak Raj was the guest of honour.
During the meeting, almost all the speakers criticized the BJP Government for befooling OBCs and termed the activities of the Government as anti-OBCs and unconstitutional as the BJP Government did not implemented the Mandal Commission Report in J&K even after abrogation of Article 370.
Speakers and participants vehemently criticized the false assurances of BJP leaders over the due share of OBCs. They said that statements and promises of BJP leaders for OBC quota never got transformation into concrete achievements. Participants also criticized the so called OBC leaders in BJP Morcha and termed them the real traitors of OBCs.
All speakers and participants appealed the OBCs to make the best use of their valuable votes in future. Others who spoke on the occasion were Dr Ajeet, Mohan Lal, Mulakh Raj, Gagan Verma and many others.
