AIBCU holds protest to press demands

JAMMU, Mar 2: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) held a protest demonstration to press for their demands, here today.
The protest was held under the leadership of its president Abdul Majid Malik wherein they raised slogans in protest of their demand. They were demanding enhancing of layer from 4.5 lakh to 6 lakh as per Centre Government, renewal of the OBC certificate on the basis of income certificate for which creamy layer is meant for, enhancement of reservation quota from 2% to 27 % and due reservation in LA/LC as per population.
They said that the State rulers and mainly Congress and National Conference always played treacherous acts against the State OBCs. All the speakers present condemned the attitude of the Central as well as State leadership of Congress which did not bother about the sufferings of the State OBCs who form 60% of the population.
Members also condemned the inefficient act of the SC, ST and OBCs leaders in view of Government new catch-up rule.
All the State OBCs were appealed to shun all the political parties to join the union to pull down the treacherous and fraudulent parties to uproot the corrupt politicians from the State by electing persons with distant vision who can serve the State people honestly and constitutionally.
Other present on the occasion were Thoru Ram Changotra, Sandokh Chand, Swarn Singh, Darshan Kumar, S Rajinder Singh, Bodh Raj Dogra, Shabir Ahmed, Mushtaq Ahmad, Ajit Kumar, Abhishek, Surinder Pal Singh, Natha Ram, Harbans Lal, Romesh Tak, Tariq Bhat and Prof Kali Dass.
