AKHNOOR, Oct 31: All India Backward Classes Union (Regd) took out a large car-bike rally which started from Vishwakarma Temple, Sungal Morh, Akhnoor and ended at Jourian town today.
The rally was formally flagged off by Col Parkash Singh and routed through Sohal, Jad, Jourian, Devipur and Gura Brahamana.
Large gatherings took place at several places to receive the rally. The public was addressed by M R Bangotra, state working president, Balkar Singh, S Gurmeet Singh, SD Malhotra, Prof Lal Chand, Ashok Kumar- Panch, Deepak Verma and Prof Kali Dass.
People from all OBC communities including Lobana community members also participated.
The speakers said when Art 370 has been abrogated and all Central laws have been implemented in J&K UT then why Mandal Commission report has not been implemented in J&K. It was appealed not to support BJP or any political party which is against OBCs.
