AIBCU opposes OBC status to new communities

JAMMU, Mar 24: In the executive meet of the All India Backward Classes Union, held under the chairmanship of it’s president Abdul Majid Malik, the inclusion of new castes in the OBC and ST category was opposed.
The hype created in Rajouri district over the issuance of ST certificate to Pahari ethnic group and to the OBCs was discussed threadbare and it was concluded that this issue was deliberately created only in Rajouri district by the self interested people who are dancing on the tune of some political parties in fear of the awareness among OBCs who have been struggling for their constitutional rights.
The Union alleged that BJP Govt has cheated the OBCs in JKUT in a well planned manner by adopting a concocted population data in which the population of four districts is 10% and population of OBCs in the whole Jammu and Kashmir has reduced from 60% to 8% only. The highly qualified and educated officers in Rajouri district had to issue clarification over the ST certificate issuance matter for OBCs in Rajouri district only over the SO 176 of 2024.
It is a matter of clear conspiracy created by the vested interested for seeking clarification over ST certificate for OBCs only. This was conspired only to corner 10% for only three categories like Kohlis, Padaris and Gadda Brahamans, a newly created ST category.
OBCs of the JKUT are aware and those who were made rulers by OBCs by their vote sympathise on the name of OBC, would also be brought down by the same. They also opposed the OBC status to several new castes and sought implementation of 27 % reservation in J&K.
