AIBCU reiterates implementation of Mandal Commission report

JAMMU, Jan 5: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) in its meeting here today held under the chairmanship of its State president, Abdul Majid Malik reiterated its demand regarding implementation of Mandal Commission report.
The meeting, which was also addressed by general secretary of the Union, Prof Kali Dass expressed the hope that the new dispensation in the State which takes the reigns of the Government will not deprive the OBCs of the 27 percent reservation benefits as availed by their community members in rest of the country.
The meeting said that taking undue advantage of specials status to the State, the successive State Governments debarred the OBCs of the reservation benefits which has generated a lot of resentment among them.
The meeting is however hopeful that the new dispensation after taking over will do justice to this hapless category of people of the State.
