JAMMU, Jan 9: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) in its meeting here today held under the chairmanship of its president Abdul Majid Malik appealed the Governor N N Vohra and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to implement the Mandal Commission report in the State by adjusting the RBA and ALC under horizontal reservation. The speakers and participants in the meeting further appealed that this the high time for the State and Centre Governments to fulfill the most genuine and long pending demands of the OBCs. They said the OBCs have suffered a lot in the hands of NC and Congress rules in the State. H D Betab, Kabir Qureshi, Ghulam Rasool, Sandokh Chand, Abdul Rashid Malik, Prof Kali Dass and others attended the meeting.
