JAMMU, Sept 15: All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Sonia Gandhi has expressed deep concern over the massive devastating floods in J&K and loss of human lives and property of the people and announced a Relief Committee for the State.
AICC general secretary, in-charge J&K State of the party , Ambika Soni (MP) today said that in view of the devastating floods in J&K which have caused great loss to the life, property and infrastructure, the Congress president Sonia Gandhi has expressed her anguish and deep concern. The Congress chief has approved setting up of a Relief Committee, comprising of 52 members including party Ministers, for the Jammu and Kashmir.
