AIELS organizes national-level conference in Jammu

JAMMU, May 12: All Intellectual Edu-Leaders Society (AIELS) organized national level conference on the theme ‘Transforming leaders: Conference to Classrooms’ at Teachers’ Bhavan, Gandhi Nagar, here.
Chowdhary Lal Singh was the chief guest on the occasion, whereas Lt Gen  (retd) Rajendra Singh graced the stage as the guest of honour.
Ajay Mishra, Deputy Director General (NSDA) under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneur spoke about the teachers as custodians of education.
Most awaited speech was delivered by Lt. Gen. Rajender Singh, on ‘Mission Metamorphosis: Grooming Students for India 2020’.
Dr. Rajesh Chandel, founder of AIELS, enthralled the audience by his varied approach towards the relationship between teachers and taughts as they both are like facets of the same coin.
Chowdhary Lal Singh, MLA & former Cabinet Minister, spoke open heartedly about education, importance of grooming in classes, the passion for taking pride in one’s own country. He harped on the need to pay more importance towards the low aptitude child in the class and help him come out and shine bright thus honing the best out of him. He emphasized on the need to bring a change in the psyche of pupils that will shape the destiny of the nation and not just deliver lessons.
The first panel discussion was conducted by Amitabh Srivastava on the topic ‘School leadership: need for a Midas Touch’. Richa Gupta was entrusted with the responsibility of being the moderator, whereas Rajesh Rathore, Principal, GD Goenka Public School, Jammu played the role of the panelist.
In the second session, Suraj Prakash, Director BBPS Training Centre, who visited India and abroad to train the teachers, conducted the panel discussion on the topic “Transforming Teachers into Change Leaders”.
The third session was conducted by Jerry Almeida, a leading author, orator and a celebrated mindfulness and leadership coach on the topic ‘From Conference to Classrooms’. He touched every soul with his radical views on grooming & leadership.
The last session was brilliantly conducted by Dr. Rajesh Chandel on the topic ‘Technology in Education or Education in Technology’. He emphasized on the need of acquiring digital acumen in today’s knowledge economy.
Dr. Vikesh Kour, Principal, Doon International School, Jammu enthralled the audience with her well scripted comparing.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Jagadish Singh Dhami, Principal, Heritage School, Jammu.
