JAMMU, Jan 27: To bring essential amenities directly to the AIIMS Jammu campus, AIIMS Jammu has entered into a strategic collaboration with Kendriya Bhandar (KB), a Government of India enterprise under the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) here today.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed in the presence of the Executive Director & CEO of AIIMS Jammu, Prof (Dr) Shakti Kumar Gupta and the Medical Superintendent, Lt Gen (Dr) Sunil Kant by the Deputy Director Administration, Lt. Col. Prabhat Sharma and Alok Kumar Parhi, Deputy General Manager of Kendriya Bhandar.
The Executive Director & CEO of AIIMS Jammu expressed optimism about the collaboration, highlighting the convenience and accessibility of quality services for the residents.
Alok Kumar Parhi, Deputy General Manager of Kendriya Bhandar, conveyed gratitude for the opportunity to serve AIIMS Jammu and assured of Kendriya Bhandar’s commitment to provide reliable services, including grocery, dairy, stationary, and pharmaceuticals.
The grocery store aims to stock daily essentials, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for the AIIMS Jammu community.
After signing the MoU, Kendriya Bhandar will establish two stores within the AIIMS Jammu campus, addressing the varied needs of the residents and patients.
One store will focus on medical supplies, providing a range of generic and branded medicines, implants, and surgical items.
The second store will cater to grocery and household essentials.
