AIIMS Jammu’s doc to represent India at 24th APOA Congress

JAMMU, Sept 14: Dr Rashid Anjum, Associate Professor in Department of Orthopedics, AIIMS Jammu, has been selected as the sole representative from India for the prestigious Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association (APOA) Young Ambassador Program.
Dr Anjum will represent India at the 24th APOA Annual Congress in 2025, set to take place in Cairns, Australia, alongside 15 of the most promising young surgeons from across the Asia Pacific region.
The APOA Young Ambassador Program is a highly competitive platform that identifies future leaders in the field, providing them with opportunities to showcase their work, engage in international collaborations, and contribute to innovations in orthopedic care.
As a Young Ambassador, Dr Anjum will have the unique opportunity to present his work during the ‘Young Ambassador Sessions’ and engage in high-level discussions with leading surgeons from around the world.
He will also have hospital visitations in Australia and attend exclusive events such as the President’s Dinner and other scientific events, where he will receive a certificate of recognition for his achievements.
