AIJMS team visits border villages, listens community problems

JAMMU, Aug 18: All India Jat Maha Sabha (AIJMS) J&K team led by Ch Manmohan Singh, J&K Maha Sabha president today visited various border villages in Samba to aware the community youth about how to avail the benefits of border reservation in Government jobs.
Speaking on the occasion Maha Sabha president asked the community members to encourage and guide their children towards education to get employment.
He asked the parents not to hesitate even to sell livestock or land for the education of children as educated children are way to economically and socially better future.
Singh urged upon the administration to speed up the process of issuing border reservation beneficiary certificate to the deserving families so that they can get benefits of the reservation in the upcoming Government jobs.
In return journey, Choudhary attended a gathering at village Rehian Khanwal, Samba where a meeting was arranged by the locals under the supervision of Ch Rattan Lal.
On this occasion many community members especially displaced families highlighted the issue of pending compensation files at Revenue Department offices.
They also raised the issue of shortage of allocated land to many displaced families and the Maha Sabha leader assured them to raise the issues on right platform on priority.
He stressed upon the gathering to unite for the demand of OBC category.
Karnail Singh, Ch Yash Pal, Ch Surjit Singh, Ch Jagdish, Surjit Choudhary, Balbir Singh, Ch. Jagtar Singh, Ch Kala Ram, Deepak Choudhary, Tirath Singh President Samba, Ch Darshan Singh President Rajpura, Ch Darshan Kher, Sr. VP Rajpura, Ch Satish, youth president Samba and others were also present on the occasion.
