AIMCCC delegation calls on RRC

JAMMU, Oct 1: A delegation of All India Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AIMCCC) met Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Migrants Ashok Pandita, today and discussed various issues faced by them with him.
The delegation was led by AIMCCC chief, Desh Ratten Pandita who was accompanied by vice chairman, B K Raina, vice president, P N Jalali, advisor AIMCCC, M L Bhoni, its secretary, J L Raina, coordinator, Satesh Sus, district president, Jammu  for Mahila Shakti.  Priya Dhar, Anjili Tickoo, district president, Srinagar and senior leader, Anil Kumar Mehta. All problems which are being faced by KPs in general and camp dwellers in particular were also discussed.
The delegation demanded enhancement of cash relief upto Rs 24,000 per month, job to every family, empowerment of the community release of balance exgratia of houses and other structures announcement of general amnesty, installation of bore wells at Jagti township, continuation of RTC buses from Jammu to Jagti and deployment of fresh Ambulance for Jagti township hospital, easy rules for bifurcation, issuance of Ayushman  cards, installation of new dust bins for all camps, construction work which will be started in all camps may be checked thoroughly on day to day basis. Commissioner assured that he will take up the matter with Government. The delegation also demanded some business units for Mahila Shakti, so that they can start their own units.
