JAMMU, Apr 1: A delegation of All India Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AIMCCC) Jammu met Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, (Migrants, ), Ashok Kumar Pandita under the chairmanship of its president, Desh Rattan Pandita here, today and discussed all the burning issues of displaced Kashmiri Pandit community with him.
Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner assured that the issues will be redressed on top priority.
The problems discussed included removing encroachment of parks and their maintenance, removal of encroachment from Government land in the Jagti township, renovation of buildings, community halls, their maintenance, digging of bore wells in camps, particularly at Jagti township, setting up of social welfare centres at proper locations, monitoring the activities of concerned departments, construction of boundary wall around Jagti township on all sides, authorisation to concerned zonal officers for supervising and restricting outdoor interference in the colony and other issues of the migrants.
The delegation besides, Desh Rattan Pandita comprised of P N Jalali, B K Raina, J.L. Raina, R K Koul, Anil Mehta and Satesh Pandita.
