AIMCCC discusses problems of displaced Pandits

JAMMU, Sept 11: All India Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AIMCCC) held a meeting at Durga Nagar today under the leadership of Ramesh Tikoo in which threadbare discussion was held on the problems of displaced Kashmiri Pandits.
Addressing the meeting, AIMCCC, chief, Desh Ratten Pandita assured the participants that his organisation will continue the struggle for the community cause to take it to logical conclusion.
He said no body will be allowed to make mockery with displaced Pandits. “Our commitment is to safeguard the Sanatan Dharma in Kashmir which has been a matter of our faith for centuries together’’, he added.
He said the Government should look into the problems being faced by the displaced Pandits and take necessary measures. He also stressed on the unity among community and appealed all to support the 33 member umbrella framed recently to have one voice, one goal, one representation, one agenda which is the need of the hour.
Desh Rattan reiterated his appeal to the Central Government to reserve two seats for Kashmiri Pandit community through proper election process, whenever elections are held in JKUT. He opposed nomination process.
Rattan said that all the nationalist people should strength hands of PM Narendra Modi who has taken many drastic steps to weed out terrorism and corruption, boost country’s economy and make India a developed nation.
He said we should have faith in PM as he is fully abreast of problems of the displaced Pandits and community is hopeful that his Government will soon take steps for the honourable and dignified return of exiled Pandits.
Others who spoke, included P N Jalali, Jawahir Lal Raina, Ramesh Tikoo, besides, Anjali Tikoo, Sagar Koul, Yogesh Kumar Chib, Anil Mehta, Roshan Lal Reshi, Ramesh Kumar Pandita, Chand Ji Ambardar, Maharaj Krishan Zutshi, C L  Dhar, A K Raina, Vinoo Misri, Satesh Saproo and Kuldeep Kumar Bhat attended the meeting.
