AIMCCC expresses concern over water scarcity in Jagti

JAMMU, Aug 31: All India Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AIMCCC) has expressed serious concern over the water scarcity in Jagti township and urged the authorities to take immediate steps in solving the same as inmates of the township are facing many hardships.
The AIMCCC which held a meeting today under the leadership of its president, Desh Rattan said that water scarcity in Jagti township has made the lives of people miserable when the demand of water is on increase in Summer, the Jagti township is facing shortage of the same.
It said the authorities despite being requested for a long time failed to settle the water scarcity problem of the township once for all. The meeting said that the hand pumps constructed in the township have also become defunct and they be also restored.
M N Kanth, J L Raina , P L Jalali, M L Booni, Raj Kumar, Roshan Lal Rishi and others attended the meeting.
