AIP releases list of candidates for South Kashmir

SRINAGAR, Aug 22: The Awami Ittihad Party (AIP) today released its first list of candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections.
The AIP spokesperson, Inam-un Nabi, while addressing a press conference announced the names and constituencies for the AIP’s electoral contenders.
The candidates include Abdul Qayoom Mir, he will contest from Pampore, Dr. Harbaksh Singh will contest from Tral, Sofi Iqbal is the candidate for Pulwama, Molvi Fayaz Wagay will represent Zainapora, Shopian.
Similarly, Mohammad Arif Dar will contest from DH Pora, Kulgam, Dr. Suhail Bhat is the candidate for Devsar, Kulgam, Hilal Ahmad Malik will contest from Dooru, Anantnag, Aqib Mushtaq is set to contest from Anantnag West and Tawseef Nisar will compete in Anantnag 144.
Speaking on the occasion, senior leader of the party Ishtiyaq Qadri said that the party will throw surprises as they did in the Parliamentary elections in North Kashmir.
